I am sure that most of you realize that it is not Thursday, when the newsletter/blog normally goes out, well, what can I say, I got distracted COMPLETING 100 PAGES! EEE! I am so excited to share the Spring Edition with you! There are still more to go, but I am so close to finishing that I can taste it. I am going to be super busy over the next week so don't be surprised if next week's newsletter/blog is late as well.

If I am being honest, things in my personal life lately have been pretty stressful. People I love were having major surgery, friends of mine are hurting, my kiddos were sick, and in the last week, 3 women close to me have either had a baby, are actively having a baby, or are trying to save their pregnancy. I don't know how you deal with stress, but even though I am worlds better at it than I once was, I am not great at it. Others' pain and hardship weigh on me as if it were my own. Realm Makers Conference

I missed you guys last week! The conference took all of my focus and energy. I went. I saw. I talked and talked and talked and talked...you get the idea. Being an extrovert wading in a sea of introverts, I must admit to being rather intimidated. Not that I don't know how to talk to introverted individuals (my husband is a super introvert after all), but it usually takes some time for people to warm up to my rather boisterous personality. I tried to curb my enthusiasm so as not to frighten people away and waste what little time I had with each person. I focused on making every interaction count by both being myself (not some sort of marketing robot) and offering what I could to help/support their business. If you missed it, being an author is a small business and if you know me you know that I LOVE supporting small businesses. And there I was, SURROUNDED by small businesses that I could help. I am pleased to say that the Book Cosplay Contest is in full swing, but of course we could always use more entrants (You have until July 31, 2021)!
