Hello All! I had such a fun time with everyone on Friday during our Clean Fiction Community Day event! If you are bummed that you missed out, never fear! Unfortunately, I will not be able to offer the Winter Edition 2022 free again until after the launch of the Spring Edition 2022, but you have plenty to read until then! At last count, we have featured 156 authors, columnists, poets, and cartoonists in our 4 Editions of publication. That is a total of 434 features. Did you know that you can find the contact information for all of these 156 authors, columnists, poets, and cartoonists on our website? Check out the "Author" link in the menu and browse for your favorite genre. Following Indie Authors not only will give you a unique selection of books to enjoy, but it also helps their small business to stay afloat. In this time when money is tight, every little bit helps.


Another event on the horizon is the Clean Fiction Advertising Deadline on February 11th. If I am being honest, things in my personal life lately have been pretty stressful. People I love were having major surgery, friends of mine are hurting, my kiddos were sick, and in the last week, 3 women close to me have either had a baby, are actively having a baby, or are trying to save their pregnancy. I don't know how you deal with stress, but even though I am worlds better at it than I once was, I am not great at it. Others' pain and hardship weigh on me as if it were my own. Realm Makers Conference

I missed you guys last week! The conference took all of my focus and energy. I went. I saw. I talked and talked and talked and talked...you get the idea. Being an extrovert wading in a sea of introverts, I must admit to being rather intimidated. Not that I don't know how to talk to introverted individuals (my husband is a super introvert after all), but it usually takes some time for people to warm up to my rather boisterous personality. I tried to curb my enthusiasm so as not to frighten people away and waste what little time I had with each person. I focused on making every interaction count by both being myself (not some sort of marketing robot) and offering what I could to help/support their business. If you missed it, being an author is a small business and if you know me you know that I LOVE supporting small businesses. And there I was, SURROUNDED by small businesses that I could help. I am pleased to say that the Book Cosplay Contest is in full swing, but of course we could always use more entrants (You have until July 31, 2021)!
